FILMSCORE INTERPRETATION
In the development of this idea, my objective was to explore themes of identity, trust, and fear with the unknown.
By placing the narrative within a recognizable domestic environment, focusing around the bond between sisters, both completely different in their own way, I tried to enhance the suspense and intensify the emotional responses from the audience, finding the tension between the solace found in familial bonds and the horror brought by deceit.

As I reflect on the concept of this video, "free therapy," it brings to life the story of Rana, a young girl who, like many of us, finds solace and happiness in life's simplest pleasures.
This visual and emotional journey unfolds through a series of memories, each capturing a vibrant facet of Rana's happiness. The rain, late-night talks, dancing, swimming, and late-night drives become poignant metaphors, symbolizing life's unpredictability, human connections, self-expression, and introspection.

In this project, I built on my existing knowledge of the technical aspects of common lighting patterns in film.
I applied the three lighting patterns commonly used in film, as listed below, by utilizing the three-point lighting setup technique, which included a key light, fill light, and backlight, on a person.

This video was a project assigned to us where we recreate an art composition.
In my vision for this short film, the narrative is the life of a woman's silent yearning for an escape from the monotonous lifestyle as a waitress. Her world, confined within the walls of the café she works in, is a far cry from the freedom and solace yet she wishes for an escape to nature, by the beach.
The film opens with a sequence that shows the fast-paced nature of her daily routine, each movement underscored by the relentless 'tick tock' of a clock, symbolizing the cyclical trap of her existence.

My vision for the music video of "Material Girl" by Madonna is a nostalgic journey back to the glamorous and vibrant 90s era, dipped with a fresh and innovative twist The concept revolves around Rana, our protagonist, as she goes through different settings that surround the themes of materialism, empowerment, and self-expression.
This story unfolds across three carefully selected locations, each serving to complement the song's message.
